Often they will charge a nominal fee to run a complete criminal background check. There are also special websites where you can have a background check, driving record check, credit check and security clearance check performed on the person you are interested in hiring as a nanny. You will have to get that person’s social security number, birth date and any aliases they may have used in the past in order to perform the checks.
