How are you finding your pregnancy? Are you feeling a little down with pregnancy? It can be tough and that is why I wanted to write this. I am currently working my way through the pregnancy timeline and I wanted to be able to offer you support through my experiences.

Not everyone finds out they are pregnant in the same way. Some can find out quite late on along the pregnancy timeline. I found out early because I was checking. I was extremely happy but then I soon thought that I didn’t feel any different. My body didn’t feel pregnant and I was a bit scared.

I went to the doctors straightaway. They couldn’t do or tell me much but booked me in with the midwife. It is when you see the midwife that you really find out what is going to happen on the pregnancy timeline. At these meetings you get given a lot of information which means that you can forget the questions that you wanted to ask. I would write them down so you can ask your midwife at the meeting.

I your body doesn’t feel pregnant at the moment then that is nothing to worry about. It soon will feel very pregnant! There are lots of symptoms tat you can feel but the big thing for me was I was always feeling tired. I just didn’t have any energy. I tried to eat more healthily but that didn’t seem to have an effect.

I didn’t just suffer with being tired all of the time. My body felt achy and I was getting more headaches. My sense of smell increased and I smelt things I hadn’t used to. This was making me feel sick.

I have now passed that stage thankfully. I am at week 18 on the pregnancy timeline and I feel good again. I anticipate it being hard towards the end but I think I am ready for it.
