Lots of Baby and Kids Books to Choose From
There are many kids story books out there so parents have a lot of of choices. Parents can read together with their toddlers or babies. Reading can be fun both for parents to do with their babies or toddlers. However], books can be costly, so you might want to find a way to save money such as becoming a member of your local libraries or buying from discount stores. Your local library should have a large selection of kids books to choose from. If they do not, they may be able to borrow from other libraries, even from out of state libraries.
Choosing the most appropriate books to start your toddlers off with can be a tough job. You need tochoose suitable books that are also fun to read so that your kids will not get bored and will want to read more. At your library, you are likely to find books that are age appropriate for your children and those that your children should not read. Some parents just let their kids choose from books in the children’s room. Other parents prefer to read kids book reviews and only expose their kids to books that are appropriate. There are a lot of kids’ book reviews online, in newspapers, and in parents’ magazines. Your local library should also have a list of recommended books for children to read.
For toddlers or babies, board books are ideal. Board books are often small books that are made of cardboard. They can withstand rough handling and can withstand being thrown around. Their pages can also be quite easy to clean because many of them are glossy. There are many board books in stores and they can sell for cheap. Board books often have colorful pages and simple stories with few words so that babies and toddlers can get used to reading even when they cannot read yet.

Make reading an every day event. My son loves to be read to before nap times and night times, it's our special cuddle time. Play with your child outside. your son will want to spend time with you rather than staring at a T.V. screen
AS for the father, you could ask him to ait until your son goes to sleep.
Any books sutiable for his age should work, animals, cars, colors shapes etc… my son loves the magazine/books called "Baby Bug"

Yup I read them and, as a tomboy, I was desperate to be George in the Famous Five.
You can find a number of kids' coloring & story books at the Homebound Books site (famous for The Detective Mouse series). They've been around for the last 8 years and are known for their personalized creations.

Well, you guys are MARRIED, I don't know why you would be nervous about brining it up, especially since you've obviously discussed your future together with children. It sounds to me like he's a got a case of baby fever…only way to know is to ask. What's the worst that could happen? According to his signals, he'll probably say yes, he does in fact want to start a family sooner than the 4 years you previously agreed on. And if he says no, then there's no way he can think you're being irrational, especially if you bring up the reason for you mentioning it (his suddenly increased interest in pregnancy and babies…) I would go for it.
