Committing Yourself on Terrific Crib Bedding Sets for Your Tot is Painless
As an expectant mother, you are probably planning a nursery for your little boy. There are many options to consider when decorating, including what colors to pick, what theme to choose, and picking the right crib bedding. There are so many different pieces of bedding available in stores and online, and you may be wondering if you need all of them or any at all.
Many nursery items will help keep your child safe, and many others won’t keep him safe or may even make him less safe. These are the things you’ll need to make your baby boy’s crib comfortable.
A mattress cover to protect his crib from any mishaps is very important. Choose a fabric that’s easy to maintain and keep at least two crib sheets handy in case a quick bed change is needed. Your little boy will also need fitted crib sheets, and again, you’ll want multiples so that you always have a clean one handy.
Crib bumper pads protect baby’s body parts from getting stuck between the rails but they can also be a suffocation hazard, so it is a controversial issue for parents. Boys nursery bedding can be added to your registry in a variety of sweet (but still masculine) colors. Some sets include mesh crib guards, which can help relieve concerns about baby suffocation and overheating–this new type of crib guard can be found in most baby stores.
Some items are not safe for your baby, and you don’t need to include them in your initial purchase of baby bedding. Blankets should not be used in the crib because they present a choking risk, and pillows do as well; both blankets and pillows are better used elsewhere in the nursery.
Many sets of bedding include the usual nursery decor items but it is best to use them outside of the crib and under close supervision or put them away for your little boy’s toddler years.
We have to tell the elders of the changes which have taken place over the past on the baby cribs for their safety. By always keeping in mind the safety of your baby boy, you should choose Junior’s crib items wisely, thereby insuring a safe and comfortable sleep.

Some good advice in this video. Boys are different from girls (I know, I’ve got one of each!), so I like the way the video points out the differences and suggests suitable options for each. Whoever did the voice-over could do it a little slower though!

SoHo Butterfly Meadows Crib Nursery Bedding Set 10 pcs **Reversible Into Morden Pink & Brown Polka Dot Designs !**…
I am in the same boat! Though this is my second pregnancy, it feels like my first. This is the first time I am preparing for my baby so the stuff available is over whelming.
Through extensive research, speaking with Doctors, and reading consumer reports here is what I found out:
1. No, honey. Do basic colors that you can get from Target, IKEA, or Wal-Mart.
- You do want elastic all the way around the fitted sheet for safety reasons.
- 200 + thread count for durability.
- At least two fitted sheets because the baby will pee on themselves and late at night you don't want to have to wait for the sheet to wash and dry.
2. SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) is very serious.
- Have a firm mattress.
- Do NOT put a blanket in the bed with the baby.
- Buy a sleep sack or a wearable blanket, available at Target, for baby to sleep in.
- Correct Temperature for baby to sleep in is 69-72 degrees F.
- ALWAYS put the baby on their back to sleep.
- Do NOT put pillows, stuffed animals, etc. in the crib or anywhere the baby can get to them while in the crib.
