Cloth Diapers: No More Pins
A box of diapers seems like a little thing – and not so much cash for a dry and happy baby, right? Did you know that the average baby will use over 6,000 throw away diapers before potty learning? Or that those diapers will cost nearly $2,000? All of a sudden those diapers are not so cute.
To compare, using cloth will save your family about $1,500 for the first baby – and they are durable enough to be used for 2 or 3 children. You’ll only need about 24 diapers rather than 6,000! And these days, a cloth diaper is easy to use.
Washing cloth diapers is simple and astonishingly easy. You’ll discover that using today’s cloth diapers is more convenient than ever. Simply shake any solids into the toilet and store the diapers in a dry pail until wash day. Then toss them in the washing machine – if you use a diaper pail liner you won’t even have to touch them or wash the pail. Run a cold rinse without detergent, then a hot wash with cloth diaper safe detergent with no additives, enzymes or fabric softeners. Line dry or dry on a clothes rack, or tumble dry on warm. Now you have cozy, clean, fresh diapers for your baby. See? Simple as can be.
Old-fashioned rubber pants and diaper pins are not necessary – snaps and velcro-style closures are in. No pinning, no folding and no dunking required. Today you can find a wide variety of possibilities from all in one styles that are as easy to use as throw aways to vastly improved ~moisture-proof~waterproof} covers and super-absorbent prefold cloth diapers. Your little one will be warm and dry, you’ll be able to afford more great things for them (or a college fund!). Everybody is happy and your wallet will be happy too.
No matter what style you choose, you’ll adore how cute they look on your little one and how much cash they save your family. I bet there are many other ways you could use the savings! There are hundreds of cloth diaper makers. From work at home moms who sew cute cloth diapers from home to large internationally-known brands, there are cloth diapers in every imaginable color, print and style. What about when you are away from home? These modern styles are easy to use even when out for the day with your little one. Just use a simple waterproof wet bag to hold wet or soiled diapers until you can take them home for washing.
