A baby bedding set is the next logical purchase after buying the crib. A big portion of bedding sets have from 4 up to 10 pieces included, but how many of those should you actually use? Most pediatricians now recommend keeping the crib free from any extra bedding, so all you really need is a crib sheet. Crib sets are cute, but since most of the pieces are unnecessary, it’s much better to spend your money on some durable, comfortable crib sheets instead.

Crib Sets Are Simpler and Are Inexpensive

There are so many options available for baby bedding that you can find just about anything you like, from bedding for girls to baby boy bedding to neutral bedding. If you are thinking about buying your bedding items separately, then consider the cost – you’ll find it’s probably the most expensive option. Baby bedding sets are the equivalent of a bed-in-a-bag. Buying a baby bedding set will give you more confidence that everything will look right together, and some extra (matching) crib sheets are easy to find.

Finding the Best Infant Bedding

Before mentioning anything else, it’s important for me to point out a fact that is often overlooked. Crib bedding (especially girl baby bedding!) is adorable and can seem like a vital necessity. Just keep in mind that baby bedding has been the cause of crib suffocation for some infants. To reduce the risk of suffocation, make sure to get a firm mattress and sheets that fit tightly. Keep pillows, stuffed animals, and even fluffly bedding like comforters out of the crib. In cold weather, dress your infant in a sleep sack or warm clothes, but do not use a blanket.

Your baby girl will sleep in luxury in whatever you choose, whether its a frilly masterpiece, bumpers with ribbons or an embroidered crib set. Surprisingly, the department store isn’t the best place to look for the best crib bedding. Soothe Your Fussy Baby in a Baby Hammock

Often the only way to calm a fussy newborn is through rocking him. However it can be challenging to cuddle your infant in your arms for hours in a row to give him what he wants. Moreover most of the baby products that produce an automated rocking motion do not do so in the natural fashion that your infant desires. Happily, there is a way to assist your baby to fall asleep and permit you to sleep too. It’s called a baby hammock, an innovative but not entirely modern way to help your child get the rest he needs.

Kids footwear brand makes leap down under

The launch of the Australian and New Zealand website for hip and happening footwear brand, See Kai Run, is a giant leap for mums and dads wanting the very best for their little stars.
Until now, most Australians had to be content to covet See Kai Runs from a distance on the pages of celebrity magazines where famous offspring of mega stars such as Angelina Jolie, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Garner and Tobey MdGuire were photographed wearing their hip, happening shoes. The brand has now just gone live on its Australian and New Zealand website, which caters specifically for the southern hemisphere seasons.
What are the origins of this coveted footwear brand ?Well, necessity is the mother of invention.Cause Haun, a West Seattle mother, searched high and low for children’s shoes that was fashionable and functional.  She wanted soft-soled, comfortable footwear that would allow her own energetic child to explore in comfort and in style.
When Haun was visiting China, she saw some shoes that she thought would fit the bill, so she brought some pairs back to the US and sold them to friends and family in record time. She launched her company named after her own toddler, Kai, in 2004 and soon everyone was talking about her amazing footwear in virtual chatboards across the States. The business grew exponentially – 400% in its first year, and now caters for children from 0 – 11 years, with its three ranges, ‘Smaller’, ‘See Kai Run’ and the ‘Eleven Colection’.
